Trails Tales & Tents, our
1997 Resident Camp!
Resident Camp is held at Camp St. Albans, which is located on a beautiful 414 acre site surrounding Lake Devereaux near Belfair. During the summer, Camp becomes a second home for more than 950 girls. Girls live at the camp for 4 - 11 days. Girls who sign up for programs will be in a unit, 12 to 24 girls with 2 to 4 staff. The girls and staff plan activities based on program and based on the interest of the campers in the unit. The basic program for all girls includes swimming, boating, cookouts, campfires, nature exploration, outdoor skills, songs, games and crafts. The special interest programs offer special activities.
St. Albans has a trading post that sells camp-related items for purchase. Additional information will be provided in the Camper Confirmation packet.
To sign- up for camp you will need to see page 7 of your "Trails Tales & Tents" booklet. This will tell you about registration procedures and what forms are needed.

Summer Events & Day Camps
Do you need a Summer Event that is close to home
and isn't going to take days out of your family planning? Then
check out the "Smiles - A Sign of Summer" booklet. We
have events for girl members only, with your troop, for families,
adults only, day camps and mini camps. The events planned have
a variety of topics and locations throughout our council.
As of this page printing the camp information had
been mailed out to all girl members. If you did not get the
booklets, please call our Tumwater Office.
Pacific Peaks Girl Scout Council
wants all girls to have an opportunity to go to camp and
attend special events. Each year the board of directors designates
funds for financial assistance. The amount available is limited.
Granting of funds is based on financial need and is not a reward
for participation in Girl Scouting. Partial or full support is
available to girls registered in Pacific Peaks Girl Scout Council.
We do not have financial assistance available for non - members.
